Our business model
We utilise:
Forward-looking technologies
- Greenvironment is a partner of Capstone and holds exclusive distribution rights in various European countries for some applications.
- The SCADA system (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) developed by Greenvironment enables central monitoring and control of the CHP plants and the integration of other electricity generation plants and control systems. Among other things, this creates the requirements for future integration of various energy sources, such as wind, solar or hydro power, in a virtual power station (“Next Generation Utility”).
Innovative Public Private Partnerships
- Greenvironment has successfully pushed ahead its growth in the local authority segment, especially through innovative Public Private Partnerships (PPP) with municipal works.
- With this solution, Greenvironment offers municipal works and local authorities an operator model for efficient, local heat and electricity supply from CHP plants.
Developing new markets with the focus on Eastern Europe
- Apart from Germany and Scandinavia, Greenvironment is already active in Poland, the Czech Republic and Romania and sees large opportunities for further growth, especially in the East European markets.
- Thanks to political and financial support from the EU and substantial investments currently being made in the infrastructure of these companies, Eastern Europe is a very promising market for decentralised power generation.
Awards
- In 2010, Greenvironment was awarded the TOP 100 qualify seal for the most innovative German SMEs.
- In 2008, the company received the "Capstone Award" for the most C/CR200 microturbine orders worldwide.
- In 2007, CNBC named the company one of the top 50 European Green Business companies.
- In 2006, Greenvironment was a winner of the Euroleader Award - Energy and Environment of the European Business & Innovation Centre Network (EBN).
