High temperature hot water

Ideal for your applications above 100 °C

One strength of microturbine CHP plants lies in their particularly high thermal efficiency for applications in the temperature range above 100 °C. Microturbines are therefore ideal, if you want to use your waste heat as process heat. Examples of this are use in laundries, breweries, in the chemical industry or in local or district heating networks.

The entire thermal energy of a microturbine CHP plant is available in the exhaust air with a temperature of around 309 °C. Hot water can be easily produced via an air-water heat exchanger.

The advantage of this technology is that almost any flow temperature can be selected and return temperatures above 70 °C are easily possible. As a result, the temperature difference between the flow and return temperature can significantly deviate from 20 °C and enables target temperatures up to 180 °C.

Through simple coupling to an absorption refrigeration machine, the cooling of buildings can also be controlled via microturbines. This technology is already successfully being used in hospitals, banks, supermarkets, hotels and multi-unit dwellings.
