• Establishment of the first joint ventures Dezentrale Energien Schmalkalden GmbH in Thuringia
• Establishment of the second joint ventures Dezentrale Energien Leipzig GmbH in Saxony
• Abolition of the contracting model "brennWERT"

2008

• Introduction of pilot project for natural gas
• Pilot operation of first 200 kW Microturbine CHP-plant in Eiterfeld (basis for standard design with 200 kW microturbines)

2007

• Commissioning of german biogas installations in Remlingen, Schkölen and Talheim

2006

• Commissioning of pilot installations in Eiterfeld and Kupferzell
• Implementation of "brennWERT" contracting model
• Establishment of German subsidiary Greenvironment GmbH, registered in Berlin
